          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 71174
          Assignee: chris at chris-wilson.co.uk
Summary: [HD4000] Huge performance drop in
                    xf86-video-intel-2.21.14
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: thatslyude at gmail.com
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: Driver/intel
           Product: xorg

I recently tried to update my copy of xf86-video-intel on my ThinkPad Helix,
after the update I noticed a huge drop in performance. Pretty much all of
gnome's visual effects are no where as smooth as they previously were. I tried
all the versions of xf86-video-intel available in portage, and found that the
last version not to suffer from this huge drop in performance was
xf86-video-intel-2.21.13
I am running Gentoo on here using Gnome 3 as my display environment with xorg
1.14.3-r2
