I've tested kernel branch
http://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rafael/linux-pm.git

This works without a problem. The screen starts at full brightness and correct
native resolution. Also fn+ keys are working.

I submit the dmesg output as attachment. Hopefully I did it right because last
time I did there was Grub 0.x ;)

Should I test the second branch too? Anything else I can help with?
