I tested this patch and, alone, it seems enough to fix the bug.

I tested it yesterday (the similar version which you sent to my personal email)
and today (the version on this bugzilla). Both versions survived many
hibernate/resume cycles without problems on "slabinfo -v". The interesting
thing is that in two cases a problem happened where "slabinfo -v" got stuck,
never finishing. I've never seen this problem before, so it may be caused by
your patch, or it may be just another bug that was "hidden" behind the previous
easier-to-reproduce bug which you fixed with the patch.
