Slowdown seems to be gnome-shell bug 701224.

As this is mobile device, changes in things affecting temperature (like test
load) can cause fluctuations.  That theory can be checked by tracking device
temperature and GPU speed from sysfs.

As gnome-shell update gets rid of fluctuations, I guess this can be resolved as
NOTOURBUG and bug 69788 set as dup of this?
