Thanks, this is the kind of dmesg I want!

And it tells me you're running kernel version "3.11.0-8.11.1.i686.PAE" which
clearly isn't drm-intel-nightly branch of [1], which has relevant fixes. Please
do try that.

Also, I see that you have backlight=vendor kernel parameter. That doesn't
exist; it's actually acpi_backlight=vendor. But please try the -nightly branch
*without* any backlight parameters first. Thanks.
