Vivobook resolution is 1366X768, so I wonder if it might be that the DP link
speed is lower also in CSM mode (triggering the DP link bug). Some debug ouput
should be used to verify, perhaps dmesg with drm.debug=0xe would provide the
info. Also would be good to have lspci -nn -v output to get the ID for the
graphics controller to see how the proposed quirk would change the situation on
this computer.

By incorporating the quirk patch, the wide-impact bug caused by incorrect
BIOS-reported bpp value would be fixed. The hard-to-fix and lower-impact DP
link issue would remain. If the link issue described in the previous paragraph
is the culprit on Vivoboox X202E, the quirk wouldn't fix the problem on
Vivobook, leaving at least that computer as a test case for the DP link bug.
