Wonderful, its working. I've used the latest git and *only* your second patch
(the first one makes it bad again). The kernel warning is gone and the big
screen always shows an image. Thanks :)

There is another warning message when removing the laptop of the docking
station. But that's for another bug report. Just to give you a preview:
