Alexey - can't say why brightness adjustment is the way it is. But I've also
noticed that on the TX300 at least the brightness jumps are not that good for
my taste - I'd prefer to have more fine-grained control. I'd like to use lower
brightness than what the FN keys offer. I've done in occasionally by just
echoing to the device files from the shell. An option to turn off brightness
key effect (and to possibly direct it to a user-space program if that's
possible) would be useful in my opinion.
