First things first, please check your kernel build process and make sure your
kernel and modules aren't tainted. Grep for "taint" in the dmesg. This one
you'll need to figure out yourself.

One thing to try is i915.i915_enable_fbc=0 (or i915.enable_fbc=0 on drm-next).
