Hmm, TearFree. I may have introduced a new (or old) recursion issue with event
handling. You can try disabling that, but I'd rather attach gdb to Xorg during
the freeze and see what's going on?

Alternatively, if you could compile with ./configure --enable-debug=full, we
may be able to log what is happening.
