[Bug 76892] xserver freezes

Seems like it indeed does clear itself after a while (more like minutes
thuogh), but only if I manage to move the cursor to another region/window that
has it change its appearance (which doesn't always work as it should).

I could send you the full dmesg, but its entire content consists of nothing but
