Ok, that really does look like it gets stuck trying to render something. Then
gets into a loop of batching up more requests whilst it waits for the GPU,
eventually it ends up waiting for noticeable periods (2-3s). Ugh. I am not sure
why the cursor stops moving though during this time, as the cursor is signal
driven.

Please can you look into getting a full-debug log from the ddx. :|
