Bug description:

After upgrading to mesa version 10 on debian testing,
I'm having a lot of issues on X.
Along with frequent freezes of seconds to minutes: white boxes and stripes,
white text on white background, deformed buttons, ...

System environment:
-- chipset:
Intel Ivy Bridge Graphics

-- system architecture:
x86_64

-- xf86-video-intel:
2:2.21.15-2+b1

-- xserver:
1:7.7+6

-- mesa:
10.1.0-5

-- libdrm:
2.4.52-1

-- kernel:
3.13-1-amd64

-- Linux distribution:
debian testing

-- Machine or mobo model:
Lenovo X230 2306CTO

-- Display connector:
LVDS

Reproducing steps:
Run X, kde, desktop effects

Additional info:
When running with desktop effects off the results are better: no freezes and no
display issues.
