There's been considerable improvements in the dp aux and i2c-over-aux code
lately. They're on their way to 3.15, but still in a few disjoint repos. I
pushed a merge of the relevant bits together into the fdo-56834 branch to my
repo at [1]. Please give it a spin and report back.
