I'm on lastest 2.99.9xx versions. i noticed this some time ago - maybe about a
month or so. Scrolling text back in KDE Konsole application became very slow.
How to reproduce.
Start Konsole (KDE 4.12.4) with QT graphics system set to native:
konsole -graphicssystem native
print long output e.g. using dmesg command.
grab the scrollbar and try to scroll back and forth.

Changing font type to bitmap or disabling AA doesn't affect performance anyhow.

Everything is fine in UXA mode. With QT graphics system raster scrolling also
is pretty fast.
My hardware is:  Intel(R) HD Graphics 2500.
Kernel: 3.13.7
TearFree is enabled.

Konsole is only case where i've noticed this regression for now.
