Here's something you can try. Roll back a few commits in xf86-video-intel.git
so that you can easily trigger the massive iowaits again. Then in the middle of
a freeze, "echo 1 | sudo tee /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_wedged" and please
attach /sys/class/drm/card0/error
