[Bug 82305] GPU hang and blank screen on boot

Thanks for the advice, Chris. With kernel 3.16.0-031600-generic (from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.16-utopic/), the GPU hang has
gone and the screen works normally.

However, some two errors have occurred:
-- The following error appears: "[    2.020195] tpm_tis 00:05: A TPM error (6)
occurred attempting to read a pcr value"
-- i915-3.15-3.13 reports an error, but this is probably due to it now being
the wrong version.
