Hi. I have some GPU HANGs in my fresh ArchLinux setup. Some Hardware
information:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 041e (rev 06)
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz
X.Org X Server 1.16.0
Chromium Version : 36.0.1985.143-1
I'm use both of type UXA and SNA, and have similar effect with chromium. When I
right click on link, and move cursor to open in new tab, and if it not hovering
with blue color i get glitch with dmesg GPU HANG. So, i have to report this,
because it's says to me:
"[ 3563.841862] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 3563.843182] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 0:0xf5dffffe, in chromium [708], reason:
Ring hung, action: reset
[ 3563.843185] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[ 3563.843187] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 3563.843189] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 3563.843190] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
[ 3563.843192] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error"
