--- Comment #38 from Martin Andersen <martin.x.andersen at gmail.com> ---
There has been issues previously–before SDL was dropped–in selecting monitor
outputs on Linux, but I assumed this would have made it into 13.1 (I've been
using this functionality for over a year). Looks like perhaps 13.2 or a nightly
build (ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly) would be needed.

Recently I've always compiled XBMC from source after checking it out from git,
and am currently running mainline 14.0-ALPHA1 Git:2014-07-07-dae6f76. Before
that the Xvba branch using their repos. Most of the Xvba stuff is merged into
mainline, but there seems to be some delay in getting it into current release
versions if what you are stating is correct.

If the version of XBMC you're running is indeed relying on SDL (which isn't
dual-head aware), you should only be able to see the 'Default' output in the
list.

EDIT: just saw that you tested a 14.0 version from source. It probably already
has the XMoveWindow patch included.
