Playing the Ubuntu welcome video causes GPU hangs on BDW. It's launched with

gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///UbuntuBoot.ogv video-sink=xvimagesink

and then boom. Tried disabling rc6 which helps with some steppings but not the
latest ones (as on Wilson Beach).

Tested on ubuntu 14.10 with:

kernel v3.17-rc2
libdrm 2.4.56
mesa 10.2.6
xdrv 2.99.914

same with an earlier stack on ubuntu 14.04..
