It causes <3>[ 993.707284] [drm:intel_dp_start_link_train [i915]] *ERROR* too
many voltage retries, give up" on drm-intel-nightly kernel when run automation
testing. run the binary, I am unable to reproduce the fail. I am not sure which
case impacts it.
Following cases also has this error:
igt/kms_flip/flip-vs-dpms-off-vs-modeset
igt/kms_flip/flip-vs-dpms-off-vs-modeset-interruptible
igt/kms_flip/single-buffer-flip-vs-dpms-off-vs-modeset
