The mba6x_bl is a platform specific driver for the mba. What that driver does
can not be duplicated within the i915 driver. These drivers control the
backlight in completely different ways.

If we figure out what changes in a suspend/resume cycle that breaks the
backlight control in i915, we'll obviously try to fix it. But it might just as
well be that the breakage is outside of i915. I don't have a mba, I don't know
how it's wired up.
