Dithering and Blinking, video URL

In this video, you can see from booting to X desktop, then after changing
resolution (fixvideo is a script around the trick with xrandr)
You can see blinking lines and blocks. It's more apparent in Linux console.

And this is with the kernel patched with your diff. So didn't make a difference
unfortunately.
