I also have a Dell 3737 with an Intel 4400 graphics card, and I observe the
same symptoms running Xubuntu 13.10 with linux-3.11.0-15-generic.

Reds show up as green, blues are purple, and the display is pixellated.

Running the proposed pipe_csc.sh commands as root does not change the display
appearance. I can try other commands or provide more data if it helps.
