Summary: DRM GPU Hang - dmesg crash report
QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: neembi at gmail.com
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: NEW
Version: XOrg CVS
Component: DRM/Intel
Product: DRI
Created attachment 92994

cat /sys/class/drm/card0/error > bug_report.dat
So I:
1. Went to www.buildwithchrome.com and fooled around for a minute.
2. Then everything hung.
Found this in dmesg after killing Chrome.
* WebGL is enabled in Chrome, I'm guessing this has something to do with it.
* I'm using UXA because SNA was too unstable in Google Maps, would always
hang.
Versions:
Arch Linux 3.13.0-1-mainline #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jan 20 12:44:30 CET 2014
x86_64 GNU/Linux
xorg-server 1.15.0-5
xf86-video-intel 2.99.907-2
Well, here you go anyway:
[ 3448.838407] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 3448.838410] [drm] stuck on blitter ring
[ 3448.838412] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[ 3448.838413] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[ 3448.838414] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 3448.838414] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 3448.838415] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
Hope this helps you.
