Sorry, I'm going to be dense here - what sort of comparison are we talking
about? Trying different version of drivers, or just observing them as the fps
drops happen?

I've been playing heavily in the last few days, and detting th governor to
performance has made a big difference, but hasn't eliminated the problem - it's
occured (properly) just once, and it corrected itself before I got perf loaded
up to capture it. I'm awaiting it doing it again so I can grab it.
