Filipe, please attach the full dmesg from early boot to the problem, with
drm.debug=0xe module parameter. You can get that over ssh.

Does the problem occur with laptop screen alone, or is the external monitor
required to reproduce? When does the problem occur; the redhat bz says
"suddenly" got a black screen, but what does that refer to?

Is this a regression? What works, what doesn't?
