note this shouldn't be NEEDINFO any more, I provided the info.

Jan Brummer says my current "Fedlet" kernel works on his v8p, which is rather
odd. It definitely still doesn't work on mine. The difference could possibly be
in the firmware - he updated his to the latest firmware, I have not updated
mine as you can only do the firmware update through Windows :(
