Indeed, fbc seems to be enabled. Can you please check whether the bug goes away
when booting with i915.enable_fbc=0. Please double-check in
/sys/modules/i915/parameters/ that the enable_fbc knob is set correct. Note
that it's recently renamed, so check with modinfo i915 which name you're kernel
is using.
