GPU crash dump

My system hangs for a few seconds at seemingly random times and I get the
following error in the log:
[drm:ring_stuck] *ERROR* Kicking stuck semaphore on render ring

Sometimes accompanied by:
[drm] stuck on render ring
[drm] stuck on blitter ring

I'm using KDE 4.12.2.

System:
Intel Sandy Bridge with nVidia Optimus and Core i7
Kernel: 3.13.6

I'm using the Intel pre-3.0 DDX drivers (currently at 2.99.911).
