Can you confirm that RPSWREQ and CAGF are 1050MHz after doing so?
If you get really bored, try
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~ickle/linux-2.6/log/?h=pmu, SNA and
intel-gpu-overlay (from http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/intel-gpu-tools/).
That should give a graph of what is going on with render requests, CPU and GPU
frequencies.
