-nightly that already contains that patch 24813 still doesn't work on BDW high
res. Still getting the blank screen.
This extra attempt to use
link_avail = intel_dp_max_data_rate(link_clock, lane_count);
only for max lane and max clock apparently solves the blank screen because I
was able to see the screen and login... than screen freezes during kdm login
before I can reach the screen...

I have no idea if it is a issue caused by this workaround or another bug that
was already present but masked by the blank screen one.

Anyway, attaching dmesg next...
