Crash dump from /sys/class/drm/card0/error

When trying to launch XBMC 13.0 on my ThinkPad X41 Tablet with a 915GM, the
display gets filled with a solid color, the GPU hangs and does not recover.
XBMC doesn't get far enough to generate its own error log.
I also don't know if this is a regression because I never tried to use XBMC
before.
OS: Arch Linux x86 with Kernel 3.14.2, Mesa 10.1.3.

These are the only related messages in the ring buffer:

[drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including
userspace.
[drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI ->
DRM/Intel
[drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not
a kernel issue.
[drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always
attach it.
