I can reproduce the same exact problem even with the Glamor backend. In Xorg
logs for both UXA and Glamor I noticed the following error:

(EE) intel(0): Failed to submit batch buffer, expect rendering corruption:
Resource deadlock avoided.

I have no idea of its meaning.
