I am running the following intel packages: 
ii  xserver-xorg-video-intel                  2:2.99.910-0ubuntu1.1            
         amd64        X.Org X server -- Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver

try those - standard packages. We have massive issues with everything > 910, as
it seems it has issues with swap buffers, therefore we use 910 on all the
machines.

Just purge the oibaf ppa.
