Thank you very very much!! This patch heals the above mentioned issue.

So, if I see it correctly, the current testing on this bug is suspend-/resuming
on 3.18-rc with ece4a17d23 workaround reverted -- to see if the symptoms
reoccur at all? 
How many iterations are considered as senseful or sufficient?
