Went home for lunch and tried the patched SDL on my Ironlake laptop, that does
fix it. So sorry for running you around Chris. Looks like a Xorg-server bug and
since SDL pretends that bug doesn't exist, it's kind of an SDL bug. For some
reason .912 and later just exposes it. This bug can be closed as far as I'm
concerned.
