Thank you, Guillaume! I'll install a clean Ubuntu 14.04 on an ACER Aspire
E1-410G and verify this issue again.

Now, this machine cannot start UI automatically on boot.
If I enable x and gnome after boot, I cannot reproduce this issue:
- HDMI audio playback is okay if I turn off/on the single HDMI output or turn
off/on all displays.

- If I turn off all displays and turn on HDMI only, the HDMI display cannot
light up.
