Got my hands on an X30 by accident, and finally was able to isolate the issue
here. The problem is that the Bios leaves the timing registers of the DVO
uninitialized after resume from standby, and hence leaves a completely useless
DVO configuration behind.

I have a patch in the making, it is currently in the "works fine for me" state.
I'll have to cleanup this patch a bit and then submit it, probably ready by
next week.
