Hi Mika

Just a quick update as I'm away from my test laptop until the end of the week.
The patch did not resolve the issue, though interestingly the flickering
appears from the time the suspend sequence starts rather than on resume (the
screen starts flickering before it turns off).

I'll test more thoroughly and post logs at the weekend.
