After upgrading from xorg-server 1.16.4 to 1.17.1, intel-virtual-output is
failing with the following message:

XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0"
after 20 requests (20 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Downgrading to xorg-server 1.16.4 and xf86-video-intel 2.99.917 fixed the issue
temporarily.
