Yes, I am 100% sure.

I have run memtest and it passes without errors.

I have found that if I lower the resolution enough I am unable to reproduce the
flickering - at 1400x1050. I also only see the native 16:9 2560x1440
resolution. The lower options are all 4:3 resolutions. I find that strange for
a 16:9 hidpi ultrabook screen.
