I created Ubuntu kernel packages with the provided patch for you. You will need
to download _all_ of those three following .deb files. One file is a bumped
firmware to make sure everything that might be needed is in:

After download, you can install those, by doing:
sudo dpkg -i *deb

Afterwards: sudo update-grub

Now reboot and verify you are running this version.
