I have this issue on my 2015 13" Retina MacBook Pro as well. It has the
i5-5257U processor with Intel Iris 6100 graphics chip. I can confirm that
running Linux with the option i915.enable_ips=0 fixes the issue on 4.1rc4 for
my computer as well.
