This might be related to the latest round of atomic patches that went in. A
dmesg with 'drm.debug=0x1e buf_log_len=4M" would probably help. Note the extra
'1' in drm.debug for atomic.

Also please bisect. If this is indeed caused by that latest series, nightly
from a few days ago should be a good starting point.
