crash dump

I noticed a really strange problem.

I have an Android Phone connected by USB, a cheap Chinese one which sometime
crashes. When the Phone crashes the image on both screens freezes.

When I disconnect the Phone, the freeze on my screens is gone.

I hat this bug more than three times, so I decided now to fill in this bug
report, even it sounds really strange for me.

OS is Ubuntu 14.04. CPU/GPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz

dmesg output:

[ 6454.656894] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 6454.656897] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[ 6454.656897] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
[ 6454.656898] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org
against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 6454.656899] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right
component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 6454.656899] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so
please always attach it.
