The bsw support before v4.1 is preliminary, and you'll need the
i915.preliminary_hw_support=1 parameter or
CONFIG_DRM_I915_PRELIMINARY_HW_SUPPORT=y config option set.

I don't think we'll spend much time debugging issues with that. Can you
reproduce the problem with v4.1-rc3?
