Just a normal Linux user here with the misfortune of owning one of the HP Mini
netbooks affected by this Intel video bug -- which messed up my Linux Mint LMDE
upgrade very nicely :)

Is there a simple way for me to plop in patched binary file to fix this, or are
we waiting for a new kernel with this fix in it?  If so, when/where would I
look for it?
