Chris,

I have regular video lockups (almost once a week) like everyone else. The only
think I can do is to switch to console with CTRL+ALT+F2 and type reboot.

I have the same error message (drm;i915_hangcheck_elapsed) in
/var/log/messages.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that every users who experience that
are using Dell Computer. I personnaly use a Dell Optiplex 780.

Like you, I still wonder why status is still ' NEEDINFO '.
