I forgot to mention I tested many workarounds:

- Disable VT-x
- Add i915.semaphores=1 to kernel boot
 (as recomended here:
https://blog.sleeplessbeastie.eu/2014/11/30/i915-and-hangcheck-timer-elapsed-error/)

I tried also in xorg.conf:

- Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
- Option "AccelMethod" "sna"
- Option "TearFree" "true"

but none of them worked.
